11 AM

They OR people are about to come get my dad. It's about 11AM. So, that means the surgery will be underway in the next couple of hours. The surgery will be around 6-8 hours long. It's different every time.

Dad met with the surgeon this morning, and he informed my dad that they will be going in through his side, instead of cutting open his original scar. We are glad about that!

I am getting close to tears, so that's all I'm gonna say for now!

I will try to keep you posted as we know things.

I am thankful for God. I am thankful for His love. I am thankful for His peace.

Fur. I am off work today, and am glad to be able to focus even more on offering up prayers for you and your precious father and your family throughout this day. I've been checking your blog like every hour, and am glad now to know the time-frame. If mentally I could teleport myself there with you, I'd be holding onto your hand so tight. No words. I love you, Fur.

Abby: I'm praying for your dad and the rest of you throughout the day today. Remember that God made his body and is not surprised by anything the surgeons will find or do inside it.

Hey Abs. If you go to the GC site our talk from this past Sunday is on there. About 10 minutes into the recording is Dan's prayer for your dad. I thought it might encourage you to hear "Daniel" (as Jane calls him) pray.
